Rafeek Kottai - CEO, President and Chief Technology Officer

As the founder of Centaur Systems, Inc., Rafeek holds the pivotal roles of CEO, President and Chief Technology Officer. With over two decades of dedicated leadership and guidance, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s trajectory and refining its products.

Rafeek’s experience in the travel industry spans more than 20 years.

His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has been the foundation of our success story. This commitment extends beyond the products and technology as he creates a sense of ownership and pride in the company’s mission and values.

His strategic foresight and dedication to product stability position the company for sustained growth and continued success in the years ahead, ensuring that Centaur remains at the forefront of innovation and service excellence.

Brett Cowell - Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Development

Brett is focused on increasing market awareness of the Centaur Product while simultaneously growing Centaur’s overall customer base.

Brett brings over 20 years of travel and hospitality experience to the leadership team.

As CIO at Collette Travel and a member of the senior leadership team, he was responsible for the vision and the execution of modernizing Collette’s Colleague, Travel Advisor, and Traveler experiences reducing operational costs while increasing digital engagement and improving the customer experience.

Brett also worked at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts for over 15 years overseeing their entire digital product delivery organization, both customer facing and operational systems. During this time, he and his teams delivered multiple award winning, innovative products including the World of Hyatt Mobile App, online check-in and check-out, a re-imagined, colleague friendly front desk experience, a hyper personalized frequent guest experience with upsell, an online group/event sales and service product, and many, many more.

Kim Krause - Head of Product and Customer Experience

Kim’s role is dedicated to continuously enriching the Centaur product offering and ensuring an unwavering commitment to excellence and customer-first methodologies. Her talent lies in delivering impactful solutions with a unique mix of technical skills, travel business acumen and active listening.

She has focused on travel technology for over 20 years.

As Vice President at Collette Travel, Kim drove technology and product initiatives empowering the Sales team and enhancing customer satisfaction. She was responsible for the innovation of a new group leader and agency self-service portal, reducing call center support and introducing highly celebrated ‘first-ever’ capabilities.

During her 20-year tenure at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Kim led teams pioneering guest recognition and backend technology frameworks supporting all Hyatt systems. Most notably, she innovated the award-winning Colleague Advantage front desk system, reshaping the front desk experience for Hyatt colleagues and guests alike.
