To setup a new package tour, we need to follow the below logical steps
1. Create a Tour type – Creates a numerical range of tours for the newly created tour type. For ex: Asian Tours is a new tour type that we would create in this practise session. The tour numbers assigned to this tour type are from 553 through 560.

2. Create a Tour Category – In case, an existing tour category does not serve your purpose, we can create a new tour category for exampe, we chose to use one of the existing categories – Seasonal Tours
3. Create a Tour Template – A Template is an instance from where new tours can be created. It has a Tour Number which is from the series of the corresponding tour type. Also we need to specify the Tour Category and the region in addition to the template name.
4. Create a Tour
To create a tour, search for the tour by the tour name or the tour number and then proceed to build a new tour.

Add Inventory
After adding the inventory to a departure date, we can add this inventory to all other dates by clicking on the Apply All Dates button.
Release the tour
After the inventory is added, we can release the tour, so that it is made available for bookings.
The other tabs in the Tour Setup is
1. Packaging: This helps us to package optional and mandatory services. Also for motor coach tours we can set the stops. Once the services are setup, these can be added to select or all departure dates. Further operational and departure notes can be added.
2. All pricing be it future, special or regular can be added in this tab. Commission and payment plans for the tour can be set here.
